Master’s degree in Mathematics or Economics with a post-graduate diploma in Statistics of Indian Statistical Institute / Indian Agriculture statistics Research Institute or any other Institute recognised by the Govt. Preference will be given to candidates holding the diploma in Health Statistics of All India Institute of Hygiene & Public Health, Calcutta or a diploma or a certificate in Demography from international Institute of Population Science, Bombay or an equivalent qualification & also to those possessing experience in statistical work in the field of Health.

Qualification:
Possess a Second Class degree in the Dairy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering or any other qualification as may be recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto AND
Possess 3 years' experience in a Large Dairy or Milk Packaging Plants or Milk Products making Plants. Preference may be given to candidates having post-graduate degree or diploma or a first class degree in any of the subject mentioned in 5.1 above.

B.Sc. (Agriculture) OR B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) OR B.V.Sc. (Veterinary Science) OR B.Sc. (Food Technology) and I.D.D. OR B.Sc. (Nutrition) and I.D.D. OR B.Sc.(Bio-Chemistry) and I.D.D. OR B.Sc. (Chemistry) and I.D.D. OR B.Sc. (Microbiology) and I.D.D. OR I.D.D. with at least three years experience in milk processing facility in Government dairy or any other dairy having processing capacity 1,00,000 liters per day AND THEREAFTER
Experience in a dairy having processing capacity of not less than 50,000 liters per day, for a period not less than three years in the post equivalent to the Group-C posts of office Superintendent in the Department. If at any stage of selection, the Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates possessing requisite experience are not available to fill up the vacancies reserved for the candidate belonging to the Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Castes converted to Buddhism, Scheduled Tribes, De-notified Tribes, then the Commission may, in the matter of such selection, relax the period of experience & select suitable candidates belonging to such Caste or Tribe.
